To my great enjoyment, I’ve been reading reviews by Janne Wass on his blog, Scifist 2.0. His review of The Curse of Frankenstein reminded me of something I’ve often wondered about, but never saw discussed in movie magazines or blogs. It’s actually a theory I have.
My theory is, due to a continuity error, you can see a loose edge of latex on Christopher Lee’s neck, and the oft-seen movie poster was showing the decapitated monster head was designed retroactively to suggest it was supposed to look like that.
The scene takes place as the monster approaches the blind man.
